This blog is deaddddd. Lol. Oh wells. I don't think anybody is reading this anyways hahaha Looking back. I have been working for about 11 months by the end of this month! Time really flies. And I'm thankful for where God has placed me in. Nice colleagues. Friendly environment. Doing the thing I like. What more can I ask for ya? However, many people have been asking a lot about my job. They envy. Because I can see celebrities. They envy. Because I can attend concerts for free. They envy. Because I can wake up late for work. Hmm. And what I can say is that. They envy. Because they don't know the hard work we need to put in. Sacrificing time with family and friends. Accepting last min jobs. Sleepless nights. Film. Edit (which includes video edit. color correction. audio mixing. rendering. exporting. uploading) Hahah. Ok basically that's what I need to do. I always tell those ppl who ask me... This is a job I like. But this is not a job that I will do forever. Someday I will need to move on. to discover what else can I do. or rather. what I'm called to do. Moving on. I see myself working for the Lord. but I have yet to discover what I really can do for Him. I shall keep praying and keep seeking. Alrights that's all for work. Now. I probably wanna share a bit about my personal life. Sometimes I really wonder when am I considered as a grown up. Sometimes I will envy my brother and sister who went overseas with their friends at least once before. Sometimes I just wish that they will see that I won't force them to accept my thinking. but I wish that they will know what I'm thinking. I understand that they care and they worry about us. but I just have a tiny wish that they will give me a chance to show them that I've grown up. Enough said. shall move on to other topics. Haha. There is something that has been in my mind for years. and I've been praying about that for years too. I know the answer will be revealing soon. but my heart will still ache when I have this thought that I won't get the answer I want. What will the answer be? We shall see.

it has been quite some time since I last blogged. recently, it had been a relaxing yet stressful period. haha. how contradicting it is. relaxing as my uni life is over. so Im using this time to meet up with friends. catching up shows that I have missed. reading His words. etc. stressful as I have been thinking a lot ever since I know of something that I shouldn't have known of. I have no idea how to solve this problem. or rather this situation. I rather not to know about the truth so that I can prevent this awkwardness from happening. There are some things that I can't let go, and I don't want to let go.. so I think it will be good if all these won't change. I'm praying for wisdom, to know what to do when facing this kinda situation. becos, I don't want anybody to be hurt. time will show, and time will tell. it has been over 10 years or rather, over 20 years. and it won't be easy at all. I wonder what will happen ahead of me, and what will my decision be at the end of the day. but no matter what, I trust that He will guide. He knows me the best, and He planned the best for me. recently I've also watched an interesting show "Divergent". in this movie, it talks about how people are being split into 5 different factions, and they are to go through a series of tests once they have chosen their faction according to a test that they all will need to go through to know more about themselves and their strength. there was this girl who is a divergent. meaning she has more than 1 strength. the bad guys who started this system feel threatened towards this group of people so they are sourcing them out to kill them. I think that the storyline of this movie is more interesting than hunger game. interesting in a way that it involve using of one's skills and personality. in today's context. all of us have different personalities, and we have different capabilities too. we are given a choice to choose who we want to be, yet we may fail to be one. We may want to be successful, but we can't . We may want to be popular, but we can't. What we want to do may not be what we can do. but at the end of the day, the decision is still on us to choose who we want to be. who I want to be? there are indeed many things that I hope to achieve, which make me seem to be ambitious. but I guess the main aim will be: to be a loving person. after watching a Korean drama called "I hear your voice". I've learnt about one thing: 与其花一生的时间去恨一个人或论断一个人,不如用那时间去爱多一个人. (Instead of spending one's life hating or judging people, use the time given to love one more person.) that's sth I like about watching shows! to learn the morals behind the story, and to reflect upon my life. :)

Monday, 23 December 2013
haha my previous post is full of grammar mistakes. but nvm. I lazy to edit. hahaha. anyways. this year's birthday was really an enjoyable one. not only because I celebrate my day during my church camp, but also because I'm able to experience the greatness and holiness of our God. the day started this way. at 12.30am, my comm gathered at 0204 for "debrief" after our day 2 night games. everything seems ok until the 2 brothers started quarreling and the younger bro stormed out of the room. I was totally shocked. as the younger bro is in my subcomm, and me, as the subcomm head, was told to go out and talk to him. so I ran out and look for him. I started to console him in one of the clsrooms, and tell him that everything will be ok and we just need to think of solutions to solve the problem. after talking for some time, another comm member came out and told me that he will talk to him and he asked me to go back in to 0204. I was like.. okkk. since he is closer to him and plus prob having someone of the same gender to talk to him will be better. so I went back to 0204. then as I walked in. I saw my cousin holding on to a camera. then I looked across the room, I saw them discussing some stuff. and out of a sudden, they sang "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU~" OHMYGOSH. I totally didnt expect that. I was totally stunned. and I rmb that I kept saying, "so all these is an act???!!" and I teared. hahaha. awww. I'm really touched by what they have done for me. when I still thought that no one will remember my birthday when the clock strikes 12. :) next, my birthday was filled with fun-filled activities, like the games and so. the talk was also really inspiring. and we were told to write letters to encourage/apologise/thank someone. I'm glad to receive a few encouraging letters which really made me smile :) after which we had our praise night. right before the praise night, the speaker talked to me and told me sth that really made me thinking, he said, "I have a strong feeling that God is calling you to do sth." I'm like WOW. Since young, I have this ambition, this thought to be a pastor, and I rmb sharing about my childish reason for wanting to be one during QT on the same day. so after hearing that, I start to thinkkk. until during praise night. During the time of worship, I also started to reflect about my own spiritual walk. I am tired. physically and mentally tired. and when the speaker said, if you find yourself being really tired, go to Him and find rest in Him. I teared upon hearing that. and when he continued to say that among us there are ppl who are called to serve in full-time ministry, I start to recall about what he have told me earlier on. when we are called to recommit ourselves. somehow I heard a voice telling me, "why not use what you have learnt to serve Him?" use my skills, meaning video production? do a production for Him? I want to submit myself to the Lord. I want to do more for Him. I stepped forward, and cried even more. One of the PTY prayed for me. she told me don't be afraid, as God will guide me and He will provide. She said that the journey ahead will be tough, but God will be there. I'm willing to serve in full-time ministry, as for how and when? I will need time to pray and ask God about it. And today, I received the rejection email from dxo. When I saw the email, I felt a bit sad, a bit disappointed about myself. but at the same time, I'm thankful that God closes one door for me, bcos I know that He will be opening another door for me soon. :) what door will He open for me? we shall see. :)

exams are overrrrr!! just had my LAST paper in uni ytd. hmm. though kinda disappointed with myself for the careless mistakes. I'm hoping for the best. I just want to thank God for giving me the peace as I'm doing the paper. was really nervous, but thankfully I kinda remembered what I have studied. (not sure if I wrote enough though. haha) ohwells. it's over anyways! :) exams endeddd. which means I have to start chionging for my FYP and my other commitments. let me list down what I need to do: 1. FYP 2. Base camp ireflect materials and logistic 3. Minutes for Lishi planning day 4. Bible camp (overseeing all comms) 5. meeting up with friends! (definitely gotta squeeze out some time) ohmansss. so many things. :( today shall be the day I start doing all theseee! started my day off by going for a short jog-cum-walk :)) it was niceee. listening to the music while jogging. hahaha always wanted to jog but I'm soooo lazyy. anyway. just some thoughts. I was jogging and I decided to slow down my pace to a walk. (partly also cos I'm tired lah huh. hahaha) I was listening music and I decided to take out my earpiece and enjoy the sound of the ambiance. I looked around me as I was walking. cars driving pass. people going for work. people working. then I heard the chirping of the birds and the rushing of the water in the drains. I felt so blessed to be able to see all these. however as I was walking. I saw cigarettes boxes along the pathway. empty cups not thrown into the dustbin but on the pavement. sweet wrappers too. I really wonder how come these people can be so inconsiderate. from there I start to think about life (hahaha. huge topic) I just thought about how can we leave our footprints in the path that we have walked. or rather how will our footprints be like. will it be just some dirt that will be blown away by the wind? will it be just some sweet wrappers or rubbish waiting for people to throw away? OR will it be a mark that will be left on the path? I guess all of us wants to be the mark on the path. but how can we do so? my answer will be: appreciate the little things in life and you will do things that will make an impact in life (not just your own life, but also in the lives of others) sometimes you just have to take things lightly. knowing that life will just go on when things happened. sometimes you also need to learn to slow down your pace and look around you. and you will find little things that will make you feel so blessed. (this is sth that I have learnt from my trainee too) alrightss! shall start doing work before I leave house to run some errands and meet my friend for dinnerr. :) will update this blog soonnn!

Just want to share this experience that I had last week! Last tues night during cell JL encouraged all of us to give out a gift pack to one of the needy people we see along our way to school, to home or to work. on that wed, as I wanted to give the gift pack away. I started to look around, looking for people who are in need. An aunty with a wheelchair came across my mind. I rmb pushing her wheelchair to somewhere. but have forgotten about the details. haha. however, I couldn't find her. :( instead, I found a yeye who is blowing harmonica for living. when I give him the pack, he smiled. really smiled. and this was our conversation: yeye:不用啦,你拿回家吃。 me:不用谢。那我赶时间,我先走了哦。 yeye:好,好。 me:上帝祝福你。 yeye:你也是。 me:拜拜! yeye:拜拜! it was just a very short conversation. how I wish I could have stayed longer. through this little act of kindness. I have learnt that there are many things we can do to make someone smile, but we often hesitate to do so because of our busy schedule, because we are afraid of how ppl will look at us. however, seeing someone smile because of your little act, it can really brighten up your day! :) I simply love the yeye's smile. so real, so sweet, and so loving. :)

today (14/10/13) I encountered a few incidents and I decided to jot it down. met G today for brunch and high tea! it was really amazing how the two of us can talk so much within a few hours even though we weren't that close till just recently. nice time spent catching up with her. :) after which, I rushed to RDA. I was late! so I took cab down from toa payoh int. the taxi uncle could tell that I was in a rush, and he kept on telling me to lead him the way in case he goes the wrong way, if not he will feel very bad I can't reach on time. he asked me some questions and I told him I was going for volunteering. he was saying that it's nice for me to do so. awww. haha. and along the way he was saying that thanks to me that he know one more new place. and when I wanted to pay for the cab fare, before I got down, he told me: "50 cent discount for you, since you are doing volunteering. it's really nice of you, enjoy your day!" at that moment, I was really really thankful. :D the kid I took care of wasnt easy to handle. he was kinda distracted when he was on the horse. and he actually jumped off the horse and clinged to me when he was supposed to wait for the instructor to dismount him. I WAS SHOCKED. really shocked. cos it was really really dangerous for him to do so. but I'm glad that I managed to catch him and he's light enough for me to carry. really an experience. haha. and after the session. I got to talk to two of the volunteers there. to my surprise, they actually thought that I look younger than them when they are just uni year 2. haha. this reminds me about one of the volunteers who asked me last tues if I have kids. LOL. two big contrast ya? hmm. just saying. hahaha. anyway. besides all these. I know nobody is reading this blog. so is simply me writing to myself. haha. what I want to say is: learn to see the good in others more than the bad in other. be thankful of the right things that happened as they assured us about what we can do, and be thankful for the bad things that happened, as they taught us about how to improve ourselves. something that i have learnt these few years, not only because of moral, but because of what He has taught me. :) that's all for today! GOOD NIGHTTT! :D
